In May 2009 G.M.F.C. was successful in gaining grant awards from The Community Foundation and Grass Roots totalling  £1,774. The money has been used to purchase a range of model aeroplane equipment to enable us to promote the sport of model flying providing training opportunities for existing and prospective members. The money will also enable the Club to purchase an electric fence system, laptop and flight simulator.                                                        Click the thumbnails for a larger image.


At the May Social Evening G.M.F.C. Members eagerly explored the contents of the boxes to reveal what the Grant Money had been used to purchase.
