Although historically called a "Swapmeet", it is actually a sale, and all goods on display are available to buy. It is an opportunity to purchase used equipment and aircraft, and not designed for traders to sell their new stock. The hangar is converted early on the Sunday morning to hold nearly 100 tables, which when opened up, are quickly filled by people with modelling associated goodies to buy and sell! The items on sale could range from full flying condition large or small aircraft, vintage and modern model engines, books and magazines, spares, broken models, tools, or anything else useful in the modelling world! The hangar is filled to bursting point so it is worth getting there early if you want to find the bargains! |
